Pastors Tim and Tammy Brown are the founders of Christian Worship Center of Natchitoches, “A Place of Vision”. From a small storefront building to a $2 million dollar facility, the Lord has truly shown his goodness.
Both are graduates of In Christ International Bible School in Alexandria, Louisiana and were trained in the ministry under Pastors Mark and Trina Hankins. After four years of serving, God laid the city of Natchitoches on the hearts of Pastors Tim and Tammy Brown and they were sent out to begin a new work.
In July of 2003, they began Tuesday and Friday services in a storefront building. Beginning with only their family and three other individuals, Christian Worship Center of Natchitoches was birthed. Through prayer, evangelism, and patience, God began to fill the church.
A year later, Pastor Tim Brown, being a building contractor, began to dream of a building that could be filled by God and that would give room for the overflowing attendance in the storefront.
God gave the vision and Pastors Tim and Tammy shared it with the growing congregation of the new church. Finances began to come in toward the building project, and land was found on the outskirts of the city limits. In the matter of one year, land was purchased and Pastor Tim and his crew worked on constructing the new facility. When all was finished in February of 2005, the church held a Grand Opening to show the goodness of God.
Since its opening, God has brought the increase of faithful laborers and families into the church. With a multi-racial congregation and a bold message of faith, God has worked to bring down strongholds in the city of Natchitoches.
